It’s about as simple a sentence as there is in the English language. And, yet, people probably don’t hear it enough. So, here goes, one more time.
Perhaps you are a reservation holder. Perhaps you are a passionate fan. Either way, your support and interest in Elio Motors means the world to us and we hope you know how much you are appreciated.
Early on in our history, we launched the 50-percent reservation bonus for “All In” reservations as one way to thank the fans that believe in our mission. People like you – the early adopters and the passionate supporters – are the reason we have been offering this incentive.
But, as you might have heard from Paul last week by email or in a news release earlier this week, the 50-percent reservation bonus only will be available throughMay 31, 2016. It will be reduced to 25 percent effective June 1. Here’s what Paul had to say about the bonus and his appreciation for our fans in the news release:
“Our 50-percent reservation bonus has always been intended as a reward for early adopters and is a thank you for their early support. The customer response has been phenomenal, and we are thankful so many people have shown their support by making a reservation.”
If you’ve been waiting for the right moment to make a reservation, now is the time.
For those of you who already made an “All In” reservation, your reservation bonus will remain unchanged and will still be applied to the final purchase price of your Elio. If you are an “All In” reservation holder and would like to upgrade to a higher level, the 50-percent reservation bonus is there until May 31. Additionally, if you are a refundable reservation holder and would like to convert to an “All In” reservation, you too can take advantage of the 50-percent reservation bonus by converting to an “All In” before May 31, 2016. In addition to qualifying you for the reservation bonus, you’ll get the limited edition t-shirt and bumper sticker and will move up in line to get your Elio!
Progressing Toward the Ultimate “Thank You”
Over the past few months, we’ve achieved many important milestones, including:
- We’ve completed several engineering milestones, including the engine cradle, the body panels, the interior, and the chassis,
- We’ve announced plans for our e Plus options ordering system
- We’ve announced the opening of our Pilot Operations Center where the E-Series testing vehicles will be assembled.
Assembly is scheduled to begin soon on the E-Series, which will be followed by a variety of testing and validation, putting us closer than ever to the final design.
Paul also touched on progress in the recent news release:
“There are a lot of hurdles to clear when you build a vehicle from the ground up, but we keep accomplishing our goals – both big and small every single day.” He also went on to say, “Our progress the past several months has been remarkable, and we look forward to keeping the ball rolling with the upcoming E-Series build and pre-production vehicle launch later this year.”
There are more interesting developments to come in the near future, so stay tuned. In the meantime, thank you again for your continued support along the way.
