From the impressive amount of media coverage to the unveiling of a new prototype, the past 12 months have created an incredible amount of momentum and enthusiasm. In an attempt to recap all of the momentous events this year, we will count down the top 5 milestones we have enjoyed in 2015 between now and the end of the year.
Number 5: Public Speaking Engagements
Paul Elio is more than an engineer and CEO: he is an entrepreneur on a mission to alter the course of transportation. Elio Motors is more than just another vehicle manufacturing company, it is a movement. Accordingly, there are many who are interested in Paul’s views on a wide range of topics. In 2015, Paul appeared on a number of public speaking forums discussing Elio Motors, the future of transportation, and equity crowdfunding. Below is a list of Paul’s most talked about public speaking events.
On February 7th, Paul was featured on The Henry Ford’s Innovation Nation with Mo Rocca, a program that is described as “a weekly celebration of the inventor’s spirit.”
On July 2nd, Paul conducted an AMA (Ask Me Anything) on the popular website Reddit, where he fielded questions from fans of Elio Motors.
On August 5th, Paul and StartEngine CEO Ron Miller participated in a Google Hangout with Forbes Magazine contributor Devin Thorpe. Topics included Regulation A+ and the incredible fan base of Elio Motors.
On August 15th Paul spoke with the investment experts at The Motley Fool about how such an affordable, fuel-efficient vehicle is possible.
On September 9th, Paul engaged in a fireside chat regarding Regulation A+ and equity crowdfunding.
On October 8th, Mr. Elio was invited to offer his thoughts on “Mobilizing Economic Prosperity” at TEDxDetroit. Paul discussed how funding entrepreneurial innovation is imperative to solving world challenges.
November 19th was a historic day for Elio Motors as the fifth generation prototype (P5) was unveiled during a press conference at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
