Last year, the tour visited nearly 75 cities across the U.S. So, what’s in store for 2016?
As Jerome Vassallo, Elio Motors Vice President of Sales, mentioned a couple blogs ago, we have some big plans. Next week, Elio Motors is kicking off our stay at the biggest auto show in the country, the North American International Auto Show in our engineering town of Detroit. We are excited to display the P5 to such a large audience of car enthusiasts and demonstrate what a targeted base price of $6,800 can get them in the near future. Auto shows are funny that way, we can be stationed right next to a 100K+ vehicle, but the crowd will sway our way because it is a fresh idea that they can personally relate to and is attainable for the majority of the public to own.
We will be covering the North American International Auto Show in depth over the next few weeks, so stay tuned! Hopefully, we’ll have some good cameos. With us being so close to our engineering offices, it’s likely they’ll stop by.
As for the rest of the Elio Motors Tour Team schedule, we are still finalizing the upcoming tour stops. Once we do, you’ll be the first to know. Our engineering team will need to hold on to the P5 at times while they are preparing the E-series but we anticipate that the P5 will make it to most of the major events. When the P5 is away, the P4 will continue to fill in nicely. We will update the ‘Find Us’ section of eliomotors.com with exactly which vehicle will be on the road with us. Check back periodically to see when we will be in your area!
