Elio Motors Tour at the North American International Auto Show

Hello Elio’ers!  It’s Tuesday and we’re coming to you live from the North American International Auto Show, or better known on Twitter as #NAIAS.  It’s press and industry week at the Cobo Center until the doors open to the public this Saturday.  Our Founder and CEO, Paul Elio is in attendance along with much of the Elio Motors Front Office.  We have representatives from IAV here, as well as board members Stu Lichter and Hari Iyer, Vice President of Supply Chain Steve Semansky, Vice President of Manufacturing and Launch Gino Raffin, Vice President of Government Affairs Joel Sheltrown, and as always Vice President of Sales Jerome Vassallo.

Today, we hosted a press conference at our booth to discuss some updates for 2016.  It was swarmed with media and was also livestreamed on Periscope with over 340 viewers.  Technology sure is convenient.  If you missed it, the link below is a recorded version for you to watch it your convenience.

During the press conference, Paul made two new announcements.  One is that the current stock offering exceeds the $12.6 million goal needed to fund engineering and testing prototype E-Series vehicles and will therefore close the stock offering on February 1, 2016. (Press Release)

If you haven’t purchased your shares yet, click here to learn more about the investment opportunity.  The other announcement is an addition to our supplier network, MTX Audio.  We are very excited to have them on board.  As Paul explained during the press conference, “As an example to our commitment to American-made content, I am here to announce today that MTX, our audio supplier is committed to assembling our audio in the U.S.” Start the video at the 3 minute mark to hear it fully.

We’ll be sharing more on social media over the course of the show so be sure to check back.  Also, if there is something in particular you want to see during the show, let your voice be heard in our comment section on Facebook.  Or tweet us, YouTube us, Google+ us, or whatever else keeps you connected these days.  Chances are, we have it!
