Elio Motors’ 2015 Biggest Highlights | Elio Momentum v34

Happy New Year, Elio fans! We hope 2016 brings about nothing but prosperity and happiness!

But, before we sing Auld Lang Syne and count down the seconds before the Times Square Ball drops, we wanted to share a different countdown as a final salute to 2015.

This year was a time of great progress for the company. We are farther along with vehicle development and financing than ever before. Paul Elio continues to grow his reputation as an industry visionary and we continue to gain fans from coast to coast. Here’s a list of what the Elio team sees as our biggest highlights for 2015. We hope you enjoy this countdown as much as you do the one before midnight tomorrow!

Number 5: Public Speaking Engagements

Paul Elio was in high demand during 2015, as he spoke at several think tanks, automotive industry events, and universities. Paul’s growing reputation and visibility is a reflection of how far the company has come this year.

Number 4: Awards

The Elio garnered some important industry accolades during the year, too! Both CNET.com and the Connected Car Expo included the Elio among their lists of industry leaders.

Number 3: The Elio Engine

There are a lot of areas where Elio is a pioneer, but perhaps none are as visible as our engine developed by IAV. We are considered tthe first start-up to develop its own internal combustion engine from the ground up in more than 60 years!

Number 2: Stock Sale

Elio Motors is even an innovator in how we are financing the company. The recent stock sale, made possible by Regulation A+, has allowed the company to fund development of our E-Series. It’s also made investing in the company a possibility for everyday people.

Number 1: P5 Prototype

Of course, our most visible milestone in 2015 was the introduction of the P5 prototype at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The Red Hot vehicle was well received by industry media and other influencers and is a physical testament to the progress we made in 2015.

We know 2016 is going to be another year of exciting progress and we look forward to keeping you posted every step of the way!
