Hello Elio’ers! As a follow-up to last week’s blog on the most frequently asked questions on tour, this week we’ll take a look at the most interesting questions…
Can it fly?
Although the Elio has tandem arranged seating like a small plane, it’s best to keep our three-wheeler on the ground.
Why is it called the Elio?
It is our Founder & CEO, Paul Elio’s last name. For more information on his story, check our the ‘history’ section of our website.
Can I replace the front tires with Traxx? It would be more fun and cheaper than a snowmobile.
Although the Elio handles nicely in the snow, we don’t suggest it.
How many Elios will fit in a 2-car garage?
Depending on the arrangement, three would be manageable.
Just how many groceries WOULD fit in the trunk space of an Elio?
About the same amount of groceries that would fit in an airline carry-on bag.
Will there be a diesel or high performance engine in the future?
We are keeping our options open for the future, but right now our main focus is to get the Elio out on the road!
It’s just a Can-Am with a top on it, right?
Most people are surprised to learn that the Elio uses all automotive components, right down to the engine, roll cage and safety systems. Even the tires are automotive.
