With the Los Angeles Autoshow in the rear view mirror, we decided to take a few photos of Americana on the way back home. Our Aerovault trailer has been an amazing addition to the tour, turning heads wherever we go! The Aerovault was added to the tour fleet by the generosity of Pete and Gayle Brock. Their Las Vegas, NV headquarters turns out these little hand-built masterpieces for customers looking for incredibly efficient and unique transporters. As the official transporter for Elio Motors, we can tell you towing this is a dream on the highway and around town. As you have read in other blogs, Pete was instrumental in the design of the original Corvette and Shelby Cobra. Pete was also a professional driver, sharing the stage with the likes of Paul Newman. Yes, that Paul Newman! We see he still has a knack for designing beautiful and aerodynamic vehicles.
First stop, Tucson, AZ: Little Anthony’s Diner
Next we couldn’t resist stopping by the Hilton El Conquistador Golf and Tennis Resort. I mean, why wouldn’t ya?! Met some cool folks wanting to come check what we had in the Aerovault.
Next we stopped in New Mexico. A little White Sands and some Roswell? The team claims nothing strange happened in Roswell, but we’re not convinced!!
Oddly, following Roswell, the team suddenly showed up in Livonia, MI Pilot Op’s. They couldn’t remember what happened on the days following Roswell, but reported that the Elio and Aerovault both made it safely. We’re glad for that, just have a few questions is all…
Next Stop, Detroit, MI for the North American International Autoshow!
Enjoy your Holiday Season!
