SIL, Emails, and More…

P5 front

Happy Friday Elio’ers! This is a tremendous weekend for diehard NFL fans. While the Super Bowl ended in February and the real games won’t be played until September, the NFL Draft takes place this weekend. There is no offseason for the NFL, and fans across the country are hoping to land a major star at the Draft in Chicago.

As usual, we had another great week here at Elio, and we have some exciting news in the works.

Here are a few items in the coming weeks:

First, the next Spot In Line (SIL) will be sent out in 2 weeks. In case you don’t know, a SIL is a number assigned to $1000 All-In reservationists which lets them know exactly where they are in the reservation queue. Once you get to the $1000 All-In level, your spot is locked in and no one can get in front of you! If you’ve ever seen an excited Elio Motors reservation holder identify themselves as a number on Facebook or Twitter, or even on a T-shirt or hat, they are referring to their SIL. This mailing will give a SIL to reservation holders who made it to the top spot between Monday, March 14th and Sunday, May 15th.

Remember, if you already have your SIL or made your reservation/upgrade before March 14th, you will not get another SIL email with each batch.  Once you have received an email with your number, you are good to go. If you were considering upgrading after receiving a hopefully hefty tax refund check, this is a great time to do it.

Also, with our enthusiastic fan base, we get a ton of feedback on just about everything. And believe it or not, we love getting the feedback and we do listen. So, we have decided to change the way we communicate with you, our fans. Instead of several emails a week, on most weeks we will only be sending out two emails a week. On Wednesday, you will receive an email with that week’s Momentum. You will also receive an email every Friday, which will act as a sort of “Elio Motors digest” and will recap the hot topics of the week. (Oh, and we’ll resend the Elio Motors digest if you didn’t open Friday’s email.) These changes will be phased-in in the coming weeks, but ultimately we will get down to two emails a week.  We appreciate all of your feedback, and next week we will outline how to manage your email subscription settings.

Finally, if you haven’t seen our first version of the Configurator, click here. The Configurator is a great way to visualize the countless customization options that will be available, and will only grow bigger and better!
