This Stop – Kennedy Space Center Earth Day Celebration!
Hello Elio’ers, the Elio tour team joined forces this Earth Day with the Kennedy Space Center. It was a great fit, as we innovated the Elio with an aerodynamic design to achieve high mileage and reduce greenhouse gases in our atmosphere, and NASA, well, it’s where innovation lives. Elio was honored to be invited by an organization who shares a common mission: To reach for new heights and reveal the unknown so that what we do and learn will benefit all humankind.
Meet Arthur W. who works as a Project Manager in ITE at the Kennedy Space Center. He holds a more familiar title of #4,622!
We also met #futureliowners Chris and Karen S, #9,430. They decided they’d be a tad late to work that day in order to visit Elio at NASA. They were out of town during our Daytona Beach and West Palm Beach events and didn’t want to miss this one!
Chris is 6’3″ and was excited to finally get behind the wheel of the P4 and see for himself that there was plenty of leg and headroom. Chris and Karen plan to drive the Elio as a commuter vehicle and are happy to be “ALL IN” on supporting Elio through their reservation.
This event was definitely one of our most memorable. Imagine…the Elio right in the middle of the rocket garden perfectly at home in a place that speaks of countless achievements. As we are working to “launch” the next big thing in transportation, this visit serves as a reminder of what hard work, perseverance and support can accomplish.
